GPBOR C.A.R.E. accepting grant applications from RI non-profits: deadline to apply is June 30, 2022

Providence, RI GPBOR C.A.R.E. (Community Awareness Realtors Events) announces that the application period for its 2023 community grants is now open to Rhode Island 501(c)(3) nonprofits. Organizations who work to enhance and uplift the lives of Rhode Islanders may apply for financial assistance or other non-financial resources. To-date GPBOR C.A.R.E. had distributed more than $110,000 since it was established in 2013. Past recipients of charitable grants have included the Boys & Girls Club of Providence, Rhode Island SPCA, The Refugee Dream Center, and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Deadline to apply for a 2023 C.A.R.E. grant is June 30, 2022. Applications can be found at www.gpbor.realtor/gpbor-care-foundation.

“With the cost of everything rising, in part due to inflation, our local nonprofits need more help than ever providing basic needs to the people of Rhode Island,” said Vicki Doran, 2022 president of the GPBOR C.A.R.E. Foundation. “As Realtors, with a vested interest in the communities we live and work in, we want to be there for our neighbors. Whether it’s through a community food drive or a monetary donation, we feel it’s our duty to help where we can.”

GPBOR C.A.R.E. is a registered 501(c)3 and the charitable arm of the Greater Providence Board of Realtors, a professional trade association of more than 2,500 real estate and appraisal members. To learn more, visit www.gpbor.realtor/gpbor-care-foundation.
