On June 25th, Pawtucket Credit Union held a ribbon-cutting to mark the opening of their newest branch. Designed by Vision 3 Architects, the branch at 40 Sockanossett Cross Rd. is the credit union's 13th location, and their second in Cranston. The new branch was built by Graham Builders.
Pawtucket Credit Union's newest, 3,300 s/f branch is 800 s/f larger than their standard. Located in a neighborhood near the Garden City Center, the branch is expected to provide banking services for an increased volume of customers.
Pawtucket Credit Union is one of the largest credit unions in the state.
Pawtucket Credit Union, now in its 81st year, is a cooperative institution with over $1.05 billion in assets. There are 13 offices located in the communities of Pawtucket, East Providence, North Providence, Smithfield, Cranston, Warwick and East Greenwich.
Vision 3 Architects is a 30-person architectural and interior design firm.
