Canton, MA Gray, Gray, & Gray, LLP has been named one of the country’s Top 200 accounting firms by INSIDE Public Accounting magazine. The publication ranked Gray, Gray & Gray as the 160th largest accounting firm in the U.S., moving up 30 places from its previous position. With $19.38 million in annual revenue, Gray, Gray & Gray is the fourth largest independent accounting firm in Massachusetts. This the fourth consecutive year the firm has been ranked among the country’s top 200 firms.

“The fact that we continue to grow steadily is a testament to the professionalism of the people we have here at the firm. They go ‘beyond the numbers’ every day for our clients,” said Joe Ciccarello, managing partner of Gray, Gray, & Gray.

“We are also blessed with very loyal and supportive clients. We are very grateful that they have placed great trust in our firm.”

Ciccarello also noted that several Massachusetts firms that once appeared on the IPA list have disappeared after being acquired by larger firms from outside the region.

“It bothers me that many once prominent members of a vibrant and thriving local industry are now being managed by overseers in New York, Chicago and Charlotte. None of this benefits businesses or individuals who are best served when decisions are made locally,” said Ciccarello. “Gray, Gray & Gray is not going that route. We will remain independent in our thoughts, our actions and our ownership.”

INSIDE Public Accounting has ranked the top accounting firms by net revenue annually since 2009. The rankings were compiled by analyzing responses to a nationwide survey and analysis of public accounting firms.

Based in Canton, with additional offices in Framingham and Boston, Gray, Gray & Gray, LLP is one of New England's leading independent accounting firms and serves closely held companies in a broad range of industries. Gray, Gray & Gray is a member of CPAmerica International, a global association of independent accounting firms.
