Greatland Realty Partners and Barings partner to acquire two buildings in Cambridge, MA

Cambridge, MA Greatland Realty Partners and Barings have partnered to acquire two buildings in the Cambridgeport neighborhood. Located at 167 Sidney St. and 99 Erie St., the buildings include 54,000 s/f of lab and office space.

“We are pleased to add these two buildings to our growing portfolio,” said Kevin Sheehan and Phil Dorman, co-founders of Greatland. “East Cambridge is the global capital of the life sciences ecosystem and a number of outstanding companies already call this area home.”

“We are thrilled to expand our Boston life sciences presence, especially in a premier submarket like East Cambridge, where fundamentals remain strong,” said Kevin Miller, head of real estate acquisitions for the Eastern U.S. st Brings.

“At Barings, we have been investing in life sciences real estate for more than a decade and have seen the space evolve from a niche subsector to an economic growth engine experiencing increased interest from our investors.”
