Grey Ledge Advisors appoints Schulitz as the firms new president

Guilford, CT Grey Ledge Advisors (GLA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Schulitz, CFP, CAIA, as president.

Schulitz joins GLA as the firm continues to build on its track record of strong year-over-year growth and commitment to delivering on behalf of its clients. He will report to Ken Russell, who remains chief executive officer, and will continue to guide the firm’s strategic direction and pursue new growth opportunities.

“Our success has always been built on the strength of our people and the trust of our clients. Mike brings both deep expertise and genuine care for clients, and I’m proud to support him as he takes on this leadership role,” said Russell.

Over the past five years, Grey Ledge Advisors has grown from just over $200 million in assets under management to more than $600 million as of September 30, 2025, a reflection of the firm’s disciplined approach and personalized guidance.

Schulitz brings more than two decades of experience in investment management, financial planning, and institutional leadership, including senior roles with RMC Investment Advisors, Voya Financial, and Wilshire Associates. A certified financial planner and chartered alternative investment analyst, Schulitz holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Mathematics from Union College.

Schulitz lives in Simsbury with his wife and two sons.
