broker sale for $5.35 million

Boston, MA Marcus & Millichap have arranged the sale of 81 Amory St., a 12-unit apartment property. The asset sold for $5.35 million.

“We are seeing Jackson Square going through significant gentrification, with many parcels in close proximity currently being re-developed. Jamaica Plain continues to have some of the strongest rents and lowest vacancy in all of Boston,” said Evan Griffith, senior vice president investments. “This newer vintage building (2017) is truly a rare investment gem with garage parking spaces, large floor plans, and only a short walk to the Orange Line,” said Tony Pepdjonovic, senior vice president investments.

Griffith and Pepdjonovic of Marcus & Millichap’s Griffith Pepdjonovic Group had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The buyer, an individual/personal trust, was also secured and represented by Griffith and Pepdjonovic.

The property is located at 81 Amory St. within a commutable distance from all the area’s major attractions including: downtown, Boston University, Northeastern, Longwood Medical Area, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Logan Airport, South End, and South Bay Center.
