Guarracino of JM Electrical appointed treasurer of NECA Boston board of directors

Boston, MA According to JM Electrical, its principal & CEO, Matthew Guarracino, has been elected as the treasurer of the board of directors for the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Boston chapter. In his new role, Guarracino is poised to drive impactful financial strategies that will benefit member contractors and contribute to the overall growth and success of the chapter.

NECA Boston, throughout the year, relies on its board of directors to foster new growth opportunities for the chapter. The board provides its members with the necessary tools, expert knowledge, and technology to excel as competitive contractors in the electrical and telecommunications market.

As treasurer, Guarracino will leverage his decades of experience in the electrical contracting industry to contribute to the strategic direction of NECA Boston. Additionally, Guarracino is the NECA Boston Chapter representative on the Electri Council, which funds, conducts, coordinates, and monitors the industry’s most critical research to commission and deliver exemplary management education and supervisory training programs. Previously serving as a director on the NECA Boston board of directors, Guarracino’s election as treasurer marks a significant milestone in his commitment to advancing the interests of electrical contractors in the region.

My primary focus is on contributing to the advancement and success of our member contractors,” said Guarracino. “Drawing on my experience in the industry, I aim to bring valuable insights and strategic financial direction to NECA Boston, fostering an environment where electrical contractors can thrive.”

“On behalf of the NECA Boston Chapter, we want to thank our 2024 officers and bard of directors for their contributions to the industry and for creating a strong foundation for the new incoming leadership,” said Kristen Gowen, executive director of the NECA Boston Chapter. “This year, JM Electrical’s Matthew Guarracino will assume the role of treasurer, one of the most important roles as it oversees the Chapter’s financial position and management. We look forward to working closely with Matthew to continue to move the association forward for its member contractors.”

As Guarracino assumes his role as treasurer, The NECA Boston board of directors looks to implement new programs and initiatives, to positively impact its member contractors and take the chapter to new heights. JM Electrical looks forward to the continued success of Guarracino in his new leadership role within NECA Boston. Guarracino holds a master of business administration degree from Babson College and a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Stonehill College and currently sits on the Mass Building Congress (MBC) board of directors, where he served as president in 2019.
