Russell Morgan has been named to the GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc.'s board of directors.
As such, he will participate in the leadership of the company, now celebrating its 51st year.
Morgan has been with GZA for over 25 years and is a principal and senior vice president. He manages the Providence district office and provides senior management of geotechnical and marine projects.
His areas of specialization are geotechnical engineering, marine and waterfront engineering and coastal engineering.
Morgan earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil and Ocean Engineering and his Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. He is a professional engineer licensed in CT, MA and RI.
Morgan's professional activities include membership in the American Society of Civil Engineers and on the URI Civil Engineering Department Advisory Council. He also serves as a structural specialist on the Rhode Island Emergency Management Urban Search and Rescue Team and is a lecturer for the URI Civil and Ocean Engineering Departments.
