Halprin of New England Retail Properties, Inc. represents Philips International in 9,500 s/f lease to Goodwill Retail Store

Pittsfield, MA Matt Halprin of New England Retail Properties, Inc. represented Philips International in leasing the former Big Lots space located at Allendale Shopping Center to Goodwill Retail Store & Donation Center. Goodwill moved from their previous location on Dalton Ave. next to Jo-Ann Fabrics.

The new retail space consists of 9,500 s/f which is much larger than Goodwill’s previous location of only 2,000 s/f. There is also an additional 9,500 s/f for processing donations, and 4,000 s/f of space in the basement. This gives the retail store and donation center a total of 23,000 s/f.

Goodwill held their grand re-opening event Saturday, July 23rd which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a remote prodcast from Live 95.9 (WBEC-FM), a food truck from Smokey Divas barbecue, a step dance performance by Youth Alive, and prize give aways for attending shoppers.
