Halprin of New England Retail Properties brokers 8,500 s/f lease

According to Matt Halprin, principal of New England Retail Properties, Inc., the new full-service Agaves Restaurant has opened in 8,500 s/f at 444 Quaker Lane (Rte. 2). The official grand opening was held on February 9 and was attended by the mayor of Warwick, Scott Avedisian, along with other local dignitaries. The property is owned by Haddad Associates based in Warwick, R.I. and was previously home to Ninety-Nine Restaurants. Agaves Restaurant is part of the chain of mexican restaurants founded by Joel Aguirre, Ashland, Ohio and this is his 16th full service mexican restaurant. Roberto Leon and Fernando Aguirre are the owners and managers of the Warwick location. New England Retail Properties, Inc., based in Wethersfield, Conn., is a full service retail real estate brokerage company founded in 1987 and specializes in investment sales, shopping center and retail property leasing and tenant representation.
