Watertown, MA According to Boylston Properties and Stonebridge Companies, the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Watertown Boston is now open and welcoming guests at the brand new hotel in Arsenal Yards. The property is operating as a Hilton franchise, owned by a joint venture of Boylston Properties and the Stonebridge Companies, and managed by Stonebridge Companies.
The development team expects that the growing number of life sciences companies that call Watertown home, the easy access to the region’s medical community, and the town’s proximity to Boston and Cambridge, will contribute to an increase in demand from business and leisure travel to the area. Located on Arsenal St., the hotel is positioned to meet the area’s demand for extended stay lodging.
“It’s been a challenging year for the hotel industry, to say the least, and we couldn’t be more proud to unveil this beautiful Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton product to the local community,” said Bill McQuillan, principal at Boylston Properties. “None of this would be possible without the assistance and support received from the town of Watertown, including the Planning Department, Zoning Department, Board of Health, Licensing Board, and more. We are also extremely grateful for the vision of our design team at Group One Partners, the diligent attention to excellence as well as health and safety precautions taken by our construction team at PROCON Construction, the execution by our partners at Stonebridge Companies, and the overall coordination by the entire Arsenal Yards team.”
The hotel staff and development team invited a small group of constituents to a private “virtual ribbon-cutting” on March 1st, and encouraged all interested guests and visitors to contact or stop by the hotel for a socially-distanced tour of the property.
The opening of the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton at Arsenal Yards is just the kick-off to a year of many exciting openings at Arsenal Yards. 2021 kicked off with the opening of Ulta Beauty in Arsenal Yards, and over the next few months, guests and visitors can expect the opening of a full-size Roche Bros. grocery store, Buttermilk & Bourbon, Condesa Restaurante & Tequila Bar, Tori Jiro, the leasing of 300 residential apartments at Blvd & Bond, and the unveiling of Bond Square, one of the property’s outdoor spaces for social gatherings, patio dining, and more.
The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Watertown Boston boasts spacious hotel rooms and prime amenity spaces on the second floor, including 1,700 s/f of function space, an outdoor terrace with indoor/outdoor fireplace, and a one-of-a-kind art program throughout the property. With a combination of standard and studio suites, one king and double queen-bedded rooms, and the option for private balcony access or an adjoining room, guests can have it all, and access the amenity-rich Arsenal Yards by walking out the front door.
