Hannigan of Choyce Peterson negotiates 5,765 s/f office lease

January 19, 2012 - Connecticut

3 Landmark Square, Stamford, CT

Choyce Peterson, Inc. negotiated new office space on behalf of PBI (Preferred Brands International), an international manufacturer and marketer of convenience specialty foods under the brand name Tasty Bite. The space at 3 Landmark Square totals 5,765 s/f; John Hannigan was the broker for Choyce Peterson.
Tasty Bite was searching for a well-located building with Class A amenities. Choyce Peterson presented and toured 10 buildings with their client throughout Stamford until they expressed satisfaction with Landmark Square, a seven-building office and retail complex with a fitness center, cafeteria and building conference room. Other amenities include valet parking, a concierge, private shuttle to the train station and direct connection to the Stamford Town Center mall.
John Hannigan, principal of Choyce Peterson, said, "Our overriding concern and ultimate goal always involves satisfying our clients by delivering bottom-line results. We understand the unique needs of finding a new corporate headquarters and the myriad criteria to evaluate in the process."
Ashok Vasudevan, chief executive of Preferred Brands, said, "Our organization came to Choyce Peterson based on a relationship cultivated at The CEO Roundtable, a selective organization for top executives. We were thrilled with the results. Choyce Peterson demonstrated flexibility, knowledge of related service providers, and concern for our needs instead of promoting specific sites. Most important, they possessed the core features critical for any organization: experience, integrity, effort and intelligence."
The new office space will be used as a company headquarters supporting 20 local staff and 130 other employees throughout the U.S., India and Australia.
Larry Kwait, senior vice president of SL Green Realty Corp., the landlord of 3 Landmark Square, represented SL Green in the transaction.
