Herlihy joins Berkeley Investments as senior director

According to Berkeley Investments, Inc. the commercial real estate industry veteran Richard Herlihy has joined the firm as its senior director. As the former head of the Capital Market group of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, Herlihy has handled the sale of more than $3 billion of commercial property along with several million s/f of lease transactions during his more than 20-year career. Herlihy's responsibilities will include the sourcing for acquisition of both properties and debt, developing new capital relationships and securing fee-for-service opportunities from third party owners. According to Berkeley Investments, Inc. president Young Park, Herlihy was added to the team to extend the firm's market reach in anticipation of a growing number of investment opportunities. At the same time Park said, "His extensive experience in investment sales, and leasing along with his solid personal relationships in the industry and with many of the firm's key members made him an ideal addition to the team."
