Four Points by Sheraton Norwood, has completed renovations and expansions to its hotel and conference center.
The renovation, which began in 2004, consisted of overhauling 30,000 s/f of meeting space and common areas and outfitting them with new communications equipment. The existing 119 guest rooms, hallways, and entrances have been upgraded as well to meet with the new design standards set by the Four Points brand. An additional wing consisting of 111 new guestrooms were also added as part of the expansion project, bringing the total number of guest rooms available to 230. All rooms are now furnished with the brand's Four Comfort Bed as well as ergonomic work stations and high-speed Internet. The expansion also included the addition of a new exercise and spa facility complete with indoor pool and Tiffany Ballroom.
"Service is our product, and it has been for ten years - it's what makes us unique," said Kevin Casey, manager of the Four Points. "We've always operated as a four-star hotel, but with the limitations of a three-star facility. We now have the facility to match our service and reputation."
The team at Four Points kept in close communications with clients throughout the renovation and took special care to minimize disturbances. The facility remained open and fully functional throughout the project so the construction was phased around normal business activities so as not to impact guests. In addition, all service deliveries and materials necessary to construction were brought in using entrances and delivery methods that did not affect normal business operations.
"The Four Points by Sheraton Norwood has traditionally been known as a business conferencing center," said Paul Dooley, director of sales and marketing. "With this expansion and renovation we are now functioning as a full-service hotel and hospitality center."

The project team consisted of Cramer & Levine Architects of Norton, Mass. and A.J. Martini Construction of Winchester, Mass. Four Points by Sheraton Norwood is owned by Hobbs Brook Management, LLC, a pioneer in the development of office space.
