Hobbs Brook Management leases 90,000 s/f to Dassault Systèmes in Johnston, RI

According to Hobbs Brook Management LLC, Dassault Systèmes, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, has leased 90,000 s/f within the Northwoods Office Park at 1301 Atwood Ave. Currently under construction, the renovation of Northwoods will offer 338,600 s/f of class A office space when it is complete in the fall of 2014. Dassault Systèmes will take a long-term lease in the building, which is expected to achieve LEED Silver certification. "Dassault Systèmes' SIMULIA brand has been engaged in the greater Providence community for more than 35 years, and we will continue to be an active contributor to this community," said Scott Berkey, CEO, Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA. "We are looking forward to our new home in Johnston, R.I. which offers ample room to support continued growth, and working with Hobbs Brook to create an environment for our employees that will continue to drive our passion for innovation." In 2010, Dassault Systèmes established its new Americas corporate campus with the lease of 335,000 s/f at 175-185 Wyman St. in the Hobbs Brook Office Park, owned and operated by Hobbs Brook Management, in Waltham, Mass. Dassault Systèmes' current real estate portfolio consists of approximately 40 locations throughout North and South America. "We are thrilled to continue our successful relationship with Dassault Systèmes with the lease of this space in Northwoods," said Thomas Dusel, president and chief operating officer of Hobbs Brook. "We strive to offer the highest level of tenant satisfaction possible in every building that we own and operate, and long-term and repeat tenants are a testament to our commitment. We look forward to serving Dassault Systèmes in this new location." Hobbs Brook owns and operates 26 buildings comprising approximately 4 million s/f of class A office space in Mass. As both owner and operator of its properties, HBM services its tenants directly via a comprehensive on-site property management staff. The project team for the Northwoods renovation includes architecture firm Margulies Perruzzi Architects; construction manager Dimeo Construction; MEP engineers AHA Consulting Engineers; structural engineers Odeh Engineers, Inc.; civil and landscape engineers Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB); lighting designer HLB Lighting Design; and kitchen consultants Colburn & Guyette. Jones Lang LaSalle and its local partner Capstone Properties represented Dassault Systèmes.
