Hovey joins JLL’s Capital Markets Investment Sales and Advisory team

Boston, MA JLL Capital Markets has hired Tom Hovey as director, joining the JLL Northeast Industrial Capital Markets Investment Sales and Advisory team.

“We are all thrilled to have Tom join the team,” said Chris Angelone, senior managing director and Boston office co-head at JLL. “This strategic addition represents another significant step in the right direction as we continue to grow JLL’s industrial presence in the region.”

Michael Restivo, managing director at JLL, said, “We are confident that Tom’s complementary skill set will enhance our ability to better serve our clients and provide them with exceptional industrial opportunities.”

In his new role, Hovey will work on the Boston Industrial Capital Markets team alongside Restivo, directors David Coffman and Lenny Pierce and analyst Ali Howard. This team is part of the broader Northeast Logistics team led by Industrial Group co-leader and senior managing director John Huguenard. The group also works closely with Boston Industrial Brokerage counterparts, including managing directors Joe Fabiano, Rachel Marks and Mike Ciummei, vice president Chelsea Andre and associate Dane Caracino.

“I’m excited to join JLL’s Boston Industrial Capital Markets team and contribute to its continued growth in the Northeast,” said Hovey. “The industrial sector is experiencing significant momentum, and I look forward to leveraging my experience and JLL’s extensive resources to deliver exceptional value to our clients.”

Bringing a wealth of experience to JLL, Hovey most recently served as a vice president at Atlantic Capital Partners. There, he led a team initiative into New England’s industrial markets, focusing on sourcing, facilitating and executing investment sales transactions in the industrial and retail middle markets.

Before his tenure at ACP, Hovey spent five years at CBRE, where he provided leasing and sale advisory services for tenants and landlords in the Greater Boston Suburban market, primarily focusing on industrial, flex, office and life science assets. Additionally, Hovey began his real estate career as a financial analyst at Transwestern | RBJ.
