Hughes elected to MEREDA's board of directors

According to the Maine Real Estate & Development Association, (MEREDA) David Hughes of Epstein Commercial Real Estate has been elected to its board of directors. As a commercial real estate broker with Epstein, Hughes focuses on the sale and lease of office, retail, industrial, and investment properties. Prior to Epstein commercial, Hughes worked in property management at Hughes Associates. He has dealt with all facets of management including leasing, maintenance, and capital planning for condo associations, apartment complexes, office and retail properties. Hughes is a graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in Business Administration. Sale transactions include shopping centers such as the University Mall and North Hampden Shopping Center, office buildings such as the former Dead River building, and former MBNA offices in Camden, and industrial properties like the former Sysco facilities in Bangor and Newport. According to Shelly Clark, business and operations manager of MEREDA, "Epstein Commercial Real Estate has been a longtime supporter of MEREDA and we are pleased that David has accepted our invitation to join the board as well as participate on our membership and marketing committee."
