Integrated Builders finishes 200,000 s/f office and mfg. facility for L-3

Integrated Builders, a construction management, design-build and general contracting firm, has completed interior construction and fit-up of a 200,000 s/f office and manufacturing facility for L-3 Communications. L-3 Communications is a contractor in aircraft modernization and maintenance and is also a leading provider of high technology products, subsystems and systems. "It was a large and exciting project for us. We're very pleased that this office and manufacturing construction project was completed ahead of schedule to the complete satisfaction of our client," said Jay Dacey, president of Integrated. "We converted interior of a large warehouse building into a 65,000 s/f of office and 135,000 s/f of manufacturing space." L-3 consolidated several locations at their new facility, which is located at 2 Nemco Way. In addition to interior fit-out, Integrated also installed new mechanical and electrical systems and a new compressed air and vacuum system. Architect for the project was Harvard, Mass.-based Maugel Architects, Inc.
