IREM Boston held Annual Golf Tournament September 12th

The IREM Boston Chapter No. 4 held their Annual Golf Tournament on September 12th at the Granite Links Golf Club at Quarry Hills. A special thank you to the tournament sponsor, Marcus, Errico, Emmer & Brooks, P.C. The weather was perfect on the beautiful course located 7 miles south of Boston. There are 27 challenging holes of links style golf with the most scenic vistas anywhere, including views of Boston's skyline to the north, the Harbor Islands to the south and east, and the densely forested backdrop of the Blue Hills Reservation to the west. 134 Golfers participated in the event. The top three foursomes of the day were as follows: 1st Place - Marcus, Errico, Emmer & Brooks, P.C. - Jonathan Adams, Patrick Mitchell, Shawn Monterio and Marvin Pardo. 2nd Place - Endeavor Capital - Matthew Galvin, John Reilly, Jason Smith, David Stewart. 3rd Place - Marcus, Enrico, Emmer & Brooks, P.C. - Tim Bostrom, Steve Gilmore, Peter Westover, Kate Wells. Our "Closest to the Pin" winners were Sue Kelley, The Boston Land Company and Jason Smith, Endeavor Capital. The "Longest Drive" went to Kate Wells, Marcus, Errico, Emmer & Brooks, P.C. and Brian Shapiro, ARS Services, Inc. In their inaugural year, Team Intestinal Fortitude raised $162,000 for Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America breaking all past records across the country.
