J. Calnan & Associates and Anchor Line Partners celebrate topping off at 245 Fifth Ave. development

Waltham, MA J. Calnan & Associates (JC&A), a leading construction management firm specializing in world-class preconstruction services and challenging construction projects, has completed the topping-off ceremony at 245 Fifth Ave. Mayor Jeannette McCarthy, city officials, and project partners such as Anchor Line Partners, Northwood Investors, Perkins & Will, McNamara Salvia, NV5, Paul Finger and Associates, and sub-contractors, joined JC&A in commemorating the placement of the final steel beam on Tuesday, June 27th.

This milestone marks a step forward in the development of 245 Fifth Ave. Upon completion, this ground-up project will encompass an impressive 262,000 s/f, featuring six floors of cutting-edge lab and office space, along with three levels of underground parking.

While we pause to celebrate this milestone, our focus remains on the next accomplishment.”

The property itself boasts an array of features, including 227,000 s/f of future lab space with 42,000 s/f floorplates. Additionally, there will be 18,000 s/f of amenity space, a food truck hall, and flexible space.

JC&A extends its gratitude to all subcontractors and partners who have played a vital role in laying the foundation and groundwork for this project. The company eagerly anticipates the continued progress of this endeavor as it moves closer to completion.
