J. Calnan & Associates began a 25,00 s/f redevelopment project for Care.com

J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., one of New England's leading construction management firms specializing in pre-construction services and challenging construction projects, is currently underway with a project for Care.com located at 1400 Main St. The project is a fast track, 25,000 square foot renovation for Care.com, the largest and fastest growing service used by families to find high-quality caregivers, providing a trusted place to easily connect, share caregiving experiences and get advice. Project highlights include a new lobby and reception area; welcoming lounge areas; conference rooms as well as new offices. The project team also included Boston Properties, landlord; Wilson Architects, architecture; and LVR Corporation, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineers. J. Calnan is also currently underway with a project for Charles River Development located at 7 New England Executive Park in Burlington. Charles River Development signed a 10-year lease extension in the office park and will complete some major renovations to their space. In the course of 30 weeks and over 7 phases, the project team will add new paint and carpet throughout their space; completely demolish and rehab the 3rd floor to include new state-of-the-art offices as well as open workstations; transform the 4th floor to include conference rooms and executive suites complete with a custom reception area; and update the 1st and 2nd floor offices. The project team also included Equity, building owner; Spagnolo, Gisness & Associates, Inc., architecture; Facility Management Consultants, owner's representation and AHA Engineering, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineers.
