Jewett Automotive Design and Construction renovates Grappone Automotive Group's Reconditioning Center on Rte. 3A, Bow, N.H.

Jewett Automotive Design and Construction recently completed renovations to the Grappone Automotive Group's Reconditioning Center on Rte. 3A. The project included selective demolition of existing walls by Jewett's Metal Buildings division; the installation of cmu block and drywall to create three wash bays with new lights, power outlets, and water and air lines; the construction of a new stairwell to an existing mezzanine; the relocation of existing HVAC duct work and the reconfiguring of electrical and mechanical services. The facility was in full operation during construction, which was scheduled to allow only minimal disruption to the client's customers and employees. This marks just the latest project in a long-standing relationship between the Grappone Automotive Group and Jewett. Other recent projects for the company include the construction of its new Collision Center, a complete renovation of its 77,000 s/f Toyota dealership and service facility, and interior renovations to both its Hyundai and Honda dealerships—all located in Bow. Jewett Automotive Design and Construction is a division of Jewett Construction Co., Inc., a Raymond, NH-based design-build/construction management firm specializing in commercial and industrial projects throughout the Northeast. Other automotive clients include such well-known organizations as Foss Motors, Team Nissan, Olsen Cadillac and Toyota of Keene.
