Jewett Automotive Design & Construction breaks ground on two dealerships for Rockingham

Jewett Automotive Design & Construction, a division of Raymond, NH-based Jewett Construction Company, Inc., has broken ground on two new automobile dealerships for Rockingham Toyota and Rockingham Honda on Rte. 28. Designed by the Curtis Architectural Group, the dual projects entail the construction of both a 33,000 s/f Toyota dealership and a 26,000 s/f Honda dealership to be located on the same lot, and scheduled to be completed late this fall. The two facilities are being constructed simultaneously in order to bring them to completion within a tight timeframe—a challenge for both management and division coordination. Work on the Toyota dealership involves the renovation of a former Ultimate electronics store into a facility featuring a 13,000 s/f showroom and 20,000 s/f service garage. The building will incorporate Toyota's latest image upgrades, including specialized flooring, millwork, ACM, EIFS, and the large white Toyota portal structure. The ground- up, new Honda dealership will feature a 10,000 s/f showroom and 16,000 s/f service garage with an open mezzanine for storage. This building will incorporate Honda's newest image upgrades, including flooring, millwork, ACM, EIFS, and the big blue Honda tower. Jewett Automotive Design & Construction specializes in design/build auto dealership facilities, auto dealership additions, auto dealership renovations and auto dealership fit-ups all across New England—completing close to sixty such projects in the last few years.
