Jewett Automotive Design & Construction completes Rockingham Motors project

Jewett Automotive Design & Construction has completed construction of a new Toyota dealership for Rockingham Motors. Part of a dual dealership project designed by the Curtis Architectural Group and engineered by Flood Consulting, the new, 33,000 s/f Toyota facility involved the renovation of a former Ultimate electronics store into a dealership featuring a 13,000 s/f showroom and 20,000 s/f service garage. The building incorporates Toyota's latest image upgrades, including ceramic tile; vinyl and carpet flooring; custom millwork; ACM siding panels; EIFS stucco; new roofing and HVAC rooftop units; new plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC systems; and the large white Toyota entry portal. Challenges included the necessity of working in severe winter conditions in order to honor the tight construction schedule promised the client. Jewett Automotive Design & Construction specializes in design/build auto dealership facilities, auto dealership additions, auto dealership renovations and auto dealership fit-ups all across New England—completing more than sixty such projects in the last few years.
