Jewett Automotive Design & Construction renovates two Commonwealth Motors dealerships

Jewett Automotive Design & Construction, a division of Jewett Construction Company, Inc., has completed renovations to two Commonwealth Motors dealerships. The project included work to both the Honda and Nissan facilities and involved converting a portion of the existing Nissan service area into an expanded body shop, while work at the Honda facility included the construction of a sound soffit to buffer service area noise from service advisors and service customers. This is the third project Jewett Automotive has undertaken for Commonwealth Motors. In 2012, Jewett extensively renovated its Nissan dealership-a three-phase project involving multiple additions-and built a ground-up Chevrolet dealership for the client as well. Jewett Automotive Design & Construction specializes in design/build auto dealership facilities, auto dealership additions, auto dealership renovations and auto dealership fit-ups all across New England—completing close to sixty such projects in the last few years.
