Jewett Const. starts retail renovation for Kittery Trading Post
Kittery, ME Jewett Construction’s upcoming retail renovation of the Kittery Trading Post consists of a structural steel and decking in-fill whose steel components include pre-assembled bolted connections for swift construction. Engineered by JSN Associates, Inc. as a creative solution to the need for additional second floor merchandising space at the outdoor adventure retail store, the renovation has been fast tracked for completion by late winter 2016. All work will be carried out while the landmark business is in full operation.
This is the second retail renovation Jewett has undertaken for the Trading Post. In 2013, the company completed renovations to a boat storage facility, enclosing what had been an open building with 3,220 s/f of insulated metal panels and constructing a “clean room” to be used as storage.
