Jewett Construction Company, Inc. to provide 53,000 s/f interior fit-up for SIG SAUER, Inc.

Jewett Construction Company, Inc. (JCCI) has contracted with SIG SAUER, Inc. of Exeter to provide a 53,000 s/f interior fit-up of the company's executive offices at 72 Pease Blvd. Work on the project, designed by Nutek Facilities Corp. of York, PA, includes selective interior demolition; miscellaneous iron and railings; carpentry; millwork; doors; frames and hardware; glass and aluminum rails; metal stud and drywall partitions; ceilings; carpet and tile flooring; painting; window shades; fire protection; plumbing; HVAC; and electrical work. The project will be completed on an aggressive 13-week schedule and while the client is occupying a portion of the existing office area. All metals work is being performed by Jewett Metal Buildings and Steel Erectors, a division of JCCI. This marks the latest of many projects in a working relationship between SIG SAUER and Jewett that dates to 2003, and the second project performed in conjunction with Nutek Facilities Corp. Other work completed for the company includes a ground-up, new Pro Shop located at SIG SAUER Academy in Epping, a new quality control room and exterior renovation to the academy itself, office and warehouse renovations, mezzanine rooms and walkway renovation, warehouse addition, and firing range expansion. Jewett Construction Company, Inc. is a Raymond, NH-based design-build/construction management firm specializing in commercial and industrial projects throughout the Northeast. Collectively, their clients include such well-known organizations as LAARS Heating Systems, NH Motor Speedway, The Grappone Automotive Group, and Exeter Hospital.
