Jewett Construction to renovate 34,000 s/f Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn

Auburn, MA Jewett Construction Company was awarded the Herb Chambers Toyota renovation and addition project. This project marks the 9th auto dealership collaboration between the Herb Chambers Companies and Jewett Construction.

A 34,000 s/f facility, the Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn vehicle showroom and service area will be completely renovated following the addition of 11,000 s/f for expanded vehicle service and administration.  Currently featuring 18 bays, the new facility will be able to accommodate 28 vehicles and will significantly expand capicity to better serve customers.  Construction is expected to take place in three phases over the 12 months with a targeted completion date of spring 2018.

The renovated and expanded dealership was designed by Regent Associates of Natick, Mass. and will feature a two-story showroom with a signature Toyota portal over the main entrance. Custom features will include an interior railing system with maple hardwood, stainless steel supports and glass panel system for a high-end look.  

Jewett Construction is a family-owned design-build and construction management firm specializing in commercial projects throughout the region.  Jewett has built or renovated more than 90 automotive dealerships to date throughout the Northeast.  In addition to the Herb Chambers Companies, Jewett’s many repeat clients include LAARS Heating Systems, SIGSAUER, Philips Exeter Academy and AutoServ.
