Jewett Construction to build one of the largest furnitures store in Maine for Jordan’s Furniture

Portland, ME Jordan’s Furniture has selected Jewett Construction to manage the construction of their new location at the Maine Mall. This is the first Jordan’s Furniture location in the state. Once open, the store will be one of the largest furniture stores in the state with over 120,000 s/f of showroom displaying furniture and mattresses, along with an outlet center. 

Jordan’s Furniture will be located in the former Filene’s/Bon-Ton’s store at the Maine Mall. 

Jewett Construction is thrilled to be partnering with Jordan’s Furniture on this monumental project for the state of Maine,” said Jon Sirois, vice president of Maine operations at Jewett Construction. “The Maine Mall has over 9 million visitors annually. We know that this project will bring great shopping and fun to the community for years to come.”

The project is well underway and the store is scheduled to open this spring.
