JHR Development, LLC begins construction of Bath RiverWalk Residences - Zachau Construction named general contractor

Bath, ME JHR Development, LLC of Marblehead, Mass., recipient of the 2014 Business of the Year award by the Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber of Commerce, has commenced on the construction of the Bath RiverWalk Residences along the edge of the Kennebec River. Located at 133 Commercial St., RiverWalk is the sixth real estate development project initiated by JHR in the mid-coast Maine region. Architectural features include water views from each unit, one-floor living, and two-car heated garage parking underneath with elevator access. Excavation and site preparation are underway and a showroom is open at 141-143 Front St. in downtown.

Having built the Mid Coast Medical Group building at 108 Centre S., J. Hilary Rockett, Jr., owner of JHR Development, understands the specialness of Bath. “We see great potential in creating a new opportunity for people to live in town and enjoy all the amenities that Bath has to offer,” Rockett said. “Working with Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty gives us the exposure this project deserves.”

JHR has selected Crooker Construction for excavation and site work and Zachau Construction as the general contractor.
