January 02, 2008 - Front Section
Chelsea MA John Corcoran and Co., developers of Parkside Commons, is making a three year commitment to fund the Chelsea River Revels as a Christmas present.
"What better time to contribute to the quality of life in Chelsea than at this time of year," said Tom Albert, VP of development at John Corcoran. "We believe the River Revel with its emphasis on the environment makes this community a better place to live and work."
Parkside Commons is pursuing a LEED certification as an environmentally sustainable building.  As part of the project the developers are donating approximately 1-acre of land to the city to enable a public/private partnership to create a public park adjacent to the building.
