John McManus joins The Nery Corp.'s Commercial Real Estate Sales & Leasing Division

According to The Nery Corp., John McManus, real estate agent, has joined its Coastal Commercial Real Estate Sales and Leasing division. McManus began his business career as an investment banker and commodities trader with Dean Witter, Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch. McManus' career shifted to the financial services and mortgage industries where he became a senior mortgage consultant/sales manager for the past 15 years. McManus also worked for a venture capital firm based on the west coast. McManus then turned his focus to a commercial real estate company where he held the position of VP/sales manager responsible for sales, leasing, retail management/ development and business sales. John then moved on to become National Sales Manager for a biomedical products company. McManus is a 1976 graduate of UMass - Amherst where he excelled as a top NCAA Division I Baseball Pitcher. McManus also served four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. McManus has dedicated much time to volunteer and charitable organizations and is an avid golfer. The Coastal Commercial Real Estate Sales and Leasing Co. represents sellers and buyers of office, retail, industrial, distributor/warehouse and manufacturing properties in eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod/Islands and Rhode Island.
