Johnson of Stamford Mortgage Co. named top mortgage originator

Penn Johnson

Danbury, CT Penn Johnson, president of Stamford Mortgage Company, a subsidiary of Savings Bank of Danbury, has been named the top mortgage originator in Fairfield County for 2018 and one of the top real estate professionals in Connecticut by Forbes Magazine. In addition Johnson has been named as a Five Star Mortgage professional in Connecticut for the sixth year in a row. The final list of Five Star Mortgage Professionals includes less than 7% of the mortgage professionals in the market.

According to Johnson, “Being a part of a local savings bank with a strong commitment to bringing clients the highest level of service is the reason for our success in a market that is served by many other banks. Home buyers, realtors and attorneys rely on us to handle their financing with a high degree of skill and with constant communication.”

“We applaud Penn on earning this top industry recognition,” said Martin Morgado, president and CEO of Savings Bank of Danbury. “Stamford Mortgage is consistently a top producer in Fairfield County and in the state of Connecticut. Their attention to our customers’ needs is exceptional.”
