Join NAIOP developing leaders on site at the Russia Wharf - July 10th

Boston, MA Join NAIOP Developing Leaders on Thursday, July 10th for a presentation and tour of the Russia Wharf site that is currently being developed by Boston Props.  Located at the corner of Atlantic Ave. and Congress St. along the Fort Point Channel, the 32-story multi-use building is planned to attain a LEED Gold certification and is scheduled for completion in 2011. 
Jeffrey Lowenberg of Boston Props. will begin the program with an overview of the design and planning of the project's mixed use components. Following that presentation, Mark Haley of Haley & Aldrich will discuss the challenges related to design and construction of a 6-level below-grade parking garage, including preservation of over 500 linear feet of historic facades, the presence of the MBTA Silver Line Tunnel, and buried historic wharf structures, just to name a few.

7:30 a.m.: Breakfast, Registration, and Networking
8:00 a.m.: Presentations by Jeffrey Lowenberg, vice president of Development at Boston Properties, and senior VP Mark Haley of Haley & Aldrich
8:45 a.m.: Construction Tour: will include a visit to an upper floor of the Russia Building which overlooks the construction site (hard hats and boots not required). Those interested can get an up-close and personal construction tour to view slurry wall and drilled shaft installation. Registration is $25 for NAIOP members, $35 for non-members.
