Keefe and Fellah of HK Group sell 222 Post Road in Westport for $5.75 million
Matthew Keefe, president, and Franco Fellah, executive vice president at HK Group, finalized the sale of the 21,000 s/f retail property at 222 Post Road West for $5.75 million.
The two-story building, originally built in 1977, sits on a 1.35 acre lot and was approximately 96% leased at the time of the sale. It is home to Pompanoosuc Mills, Bel Mondo, Around the Rosie, J. Pocker & Son, Capel Rugs, Artee Fabrics and The Dance Collective.
The buyer is from out of state. Westport commercial property has recently attracted a number of out of state real estate investors, driven by the great retail activity of this market. Retailers have been opening stores in Westport because of the demographic profile of the town.
