Shawmut Design and Construction's James Koloski has been appointed to the board of directors of The VETS Memorial Foundation. In this role, Koloski oversees the vision, governance and fundraising for Veterans Memorial Auditorium, which holds a unique place in the cultural life of Rhode Island. He also chairs the marketing committee.
Koloski and the board of The VETS make key decisions for this Rhode Island landmark and important forum for legendary artists, local performers and community traditions. His work will center on such topics as maintaining the theater's flawless acoustics, breathtaking proscenium stage and exquisite interior. The facility also boasts a one-of-a-kind ceiling featuring the shields of Rhode Island's original 39 communities.
Koloski is also a director at Shawmut Design and Construction, where he leads client service for projects throughout Rhode Island including work at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design, Taco and many other corporations and institutions.
