Konover Commercial Corporation has been awarded a five-year contract for the management of the Uncas on Thames campus. Uncas on Thames, owned by the State of Connecticut, includes nearly 300,000 s/f of office, medical and healthcare space across 120 acres. Konover Commercial has been providing property management services for the facility since 2007. "This contract renewal is a testament to the hard work and performance of our property management team," said Elizabeth Judd, president of Konover Commercial. "Exceptional service and client satisfaction is key to our continued growth. We look forward to continuing to serve the State of Connecticut in this capacity." The new five-year contract, which was obtained through a competitive procurement process, includes two additional state-owned properties. Seaside, the former Seaside Regional Center in Waterford, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers public access to Long Island Sound. Mystic Educational Center in Groton, formerly called the Mystic Oral School, located in Groton, is a state-owned surplus campus. "The state recognized that the Simon Konover organization was well qualified to handle additional properties and saw fit to expand the scope of this contract," said Judd.
