Lavallee Brensinger adds staff, opens new office in Portland

Portland, ME Lavallee Brensinger Architects added eight staff members to the firm, and has opened a new downtown Portland office at 305 Commercial St. Richard Pizzi, CEO, said, “In response to more than 20 years of successful partnering with extraordinary organizations throughout Maine, we are excited to announce our Portland office is currently under construction and will be ready for its grand opening this fall. We look forward to further integrating ourselves into the Greater Portland community!” Lavallee Brensinger has enjoyed over 20 years planning and designing new construction, renovation and expansion projects for our many Maine clients including: Blue Hill Memorial Hospital, Colby College, Goodall Hospital, IDEXX Laboratories, Inland Hospital, Mid-Coast School of Technology, Morse High School, Riverview Psychiatric Recovery Center, Sanford School District, Sebasticook Valley Hospital, St. Andrews Hospital, St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, The Park Danforth, Town of Wells, University of Southern Maine, Wells-Ogunquit Community School District, and York Hospital. “We are also happy to welcome eight new members to Lavallee Brensinger’s team,” said Pizzi. Paul Lewandowski, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP joins the firm with over two decades of experience planning and designing innovative projects for corporate, civic, healthcare and education clients. He earned his degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and went on to serve as an adjunct professor of Architecture. His passion for design has continued in his architectural career, professorial role at the Maine College of Art, and president elect position with IIDA New England. Alice Carey, AIA, LEED AP BD+C joins Lavallee Brensinger with an extensive background in master planning and design for education and civic clients. Alice earned her BArch at Syracuse University where she graduated Cum Laude. Her experience encompasses project and document management, 3D Building Information Modeling and LEED design. Eric Giuliano, LEED AP, joins the firm with nearly 20 years experience, specializing in project management, project documentation, detailing and building lasting relationships with his clients. A graduate of Norwich University, his recent work includes complex design projects for healthcare clients in the region. Also joining the firm’s design team are Shellie McClallen, LEED AP specializing in healthcare and corporate architecture; Ryan Tirrell, interior designer with a background in sustainability; and Scott Graham, a talented MArch graduate from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. In addition, Lavallee Brensinger welcomes Kathleen Porter, business development manager, and Rebecca Tildesley, marketing coordinator, both of whom have backgrounds in the A/E industry.
