LCB and Wohlsen earn ABC 2019 Excellence in Construction award
Darien, CT LCB Senior Living, LLC, has received an award for one of its newer projects, The Residence at Selleck’s Woods. The community and its general contractor, Wohlsen Construction Co., were presented the 2019 Excellence in Construction award from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut (CT ABC).
Construction of The Residence at Selleck’s Woods was completed in the spring of this year, and it was the first project Wohlsen and LCB worked on together.
The 140,000 s/f community provides independent, assisted, and memory care living options to area seniors, and offers in total 105 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. The community also includes numerous common living areas, a restaurant-style dining room, a bistro, a spa/salon, a billiards room, a library, and more.
The Residence at Selleck’s Woods lies adjacent to its namesake, the Selleck’s Woods Nature Preserve.
