Letner joins Boston Private Bank & Trust as senior vice president

According to Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, Ralph Letner has been appointed senior vice president and team leader for commercial banking. With nearly 25 years of experience in banking, Letner is responsible for leading a team of relationship managers focused on commercial and industrial lending, managing a portfolio of existing clients, deepening those relationships, and bringing new business and individual clients to the bank.
Prior to joining Boston Private Bank & Trust, Letner began his career in banking in the consumer finance business in 1986 and received formal commercial credit training at Fleet National Bank. Letner joined a subsidiary of the Bank of Tokyo in 1994 where he was vice president; asset based lending and later joined Citizens Bank in 1998. While at Citizens, Letner served as vice president, technology banking for three years and senior vice president, team leader for community banking for seven years.
Letner earned a bachelor of science degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. He is a graduate of Babson College, where he earned a masters of Business Administration.
