Lexington Downtown to undergo $13m rehab: A Madison W and IHR J.V.

According to Lexington Downtown Hotel & Conference Center, a Hilton Affiliate Hotel, it will undergo a $13 million renovation to update and modernize its 367 guestrooms and public spaces in preparation for its conversion to a Hilton brand hotel. The revamping of the 290,362 s/f hotel is scheduled to begin this spring and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. Lexington Downtown Hotel & Conference Center will remain open during its renovation. Developed by Atlanta firm Design Continuum, Inc., the hotel is a joint venture between Madison W Properties and Interstate Hotels & Resorts (IHR).
