Linear Retail acquires 30,000 s/f retail property for $5.5 million

Reading, MA Linear Retail Properties, LLC has acquired 1342 Main St., a freestanding retail property currently leased to HomeGoods. 

The purchase price for the property was $5.5 million. The seller was represented by Jenny Ng of The Network Group. 

Ng said, “We had significant interest in the property from many capable real estate investors. Linear’s reputation for closing coupled with their aggressive pricing made them the right choice.”

Aubrey Cannuscio, partner – acquisitions said, “This property has many of the attributes we seek in an acquisition including being in a highly visible location in a strong market with a long-term tenant in occupancy. We are on a mission to acquire more quality retail properties just like this one.”

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
