Longtime New England Real Estate Journal friend Jack Otis passes away
Jack Otis passed away on August 30 and was a New England Real Estate Journal (NEREJ) friend for 50 years and a friend of NEREJ founder Rolly Hopkins for 65 years.
Otis worked in the elevator industry starting with Otis Elevator Co. (no relation) and finishing his career with Advanced Elevator.
He graduated in 1951 from Rivers Country Day School in Weston. He was captain of the football, baseball and basketball teams.
Hopkins met him on the baseball diamond and they remained good friends ever since.
Otis was a good golfer, a good father, a good athlete, and most important, a good husband.
