Loughlin joins BSC Group as transportation project director

According to BSC Group, Thomas Loughlin, PE joined its transportation group. Loughlin has nearly 30 years of experience in the transportation and construction industry, with his most recent experience serving as the director of statewide highway operations for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), formerly MassHighway. Loughlin is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Boston Society of Civil Engineers, the American Public Works Association and the Massachusetts Highway Association. Loughlin brings to BSC's transportation team an exceptional understanding of state and municipal roadway projects, particularly reconstruction efforts and the regulatory and funding issues that impact them. While at MassDOT, Tom oversaw numerous roadway and bridge improvement projects statewide as well as highway operations and maintenance issues including snow and ice control and highway maintenance. He will use this experience to guide BSC's municipal clients in planning and designing successful roadway improvement projects and assisting with operational and maintenance planning in their communities.
