Lyman Real Estate sells 19.16-acre site to Lake Hayward Props. for new 195-unit apartment complex
Colchester, CT A 19.16-acre parcel on Lake Hayward Rd. will be the site of Lake Hayward of Colchester Apartments, according to Ron Lyman, CCIM, CEO of Lyman Real Estate Brokerage & Development. Lyman represented seller Roaring Brook Advisors, LLC. The buyer, Lake Hayward Properties LLC, was represented by Williams Realty. The sale price for the land was $390,000. It is to be developed by ASW, LLC.
Lake Hayward of Colchester Apartments will be located in the woodlands of Lake Hayward, off Rte. 2. The complex will include 13 buildings housing 195 one- and two-bedroom apartments, which will feature modern kitchens, large closets, and washer/dryers in every unit. Thirty of the apartments have been specifically identified as affordable housing.
Amenities in the complex will include a clubhouse and fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, and a community patio and grilling area. The new rental community is being built by the same company that developed North Woods of Colchester and Four Seasons of Colchester.
