Lyons joins newly opened Suffolk Portland office

Portland, ME According to Suffolk, one of the largest construction enterprises in the country, Justin Lyons will join the company’s newly opened office as vice president and project executive. Lyons will leverage his local relationships and 20 years of industry expertise to drive growth for Suffolk in northern New England.

Lyons’ industry background includes experience as a project executive with Landry/French and Consigli, and a 17-year tenure with Turner, where he held various roles across project management and operations functions. Lyons has managed projects including healthcare, higher education and commercial construction, including regional projects such as the $240 million Malone Family Tower at Maine Medical Center and the $625 million Harvard Science and Engineering Complex in Boston. Working with clients including Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Brigham and Women’s Hospital over the course of his career, Lyons offers clients value by leveraging his experience in preconstruction, estimating, project management, operations and client management to ensure project success.

Suffolk has been expanding its presence in northern New England, opening its Portland office in January. Located downtown on Commercial St., the office will serve clients in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont in sectors such as healthcare and higher education. The growth of Suffolk’s northern New England leadership team will help the company diversify its portfolio, which currently includes projects such as the fossil-fuel-free Boston University Center for Computing and Data Sciences, the Boston Children’s Hospital Hale Family Clinical Building, the Northeastern University EXP research center, and the Passive House-certified Winthrop Center.
