Margulies Perruzzi Architects hires Amaral as human resources director

Margulies Perruzzi Architects (MPA), one of Boston's most innovative architectural and interior design firms, welcomes Maureen Amaral to the firm as its new director of human resources. Amaral brings significant experience in employee relations to MPA, along with demonstrated success in talent management, outreach, and recruitment. Most recently a human resources business partner with State Street Corp., Amaral will now assist MPA with matters of employee relations, professional development, performance management, mentoring, and the organization of additional learning opportunities through the formation of an "MPA University." Additionally, she will influence and track the progress being made on MPA's strategic plan for overall business growth. "We're thrilled to have a human resources director of Maureen's caliber at MPA," said Marc Margulies, AIA, LEED AP, founder and principal of the firm. "MPA has always enjoyed a culture that has kept many employees here for their entire careers. We're confident Maureen will reinforce that foundation and continue building upon it in the months and years ahead."
