Mass. Chapter of ABC Excellence in Construction Awards - The RELCO Companies

N.E. Ruffnecks Baseball Complex - Northborough, MA N.E. Ruffnecks Baseball Complex - Northborough, MA

Northborough, MA The Massachusetts Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors congratulates The RELCO Companies for receiving the Merit Award at the 23rd annual Excellence in Construction Awards for their outstanding work on N.E. Ruffnecks Baseball Complex located in Northborough, Mass.

The Merit Award recognizes the overall excellence in project execution, craftsmanship, safety, innovative elements and challenges, and client satisfaction. The RELCO Companies took home the Merit Award, representing work that stands above the rest, for its work on N.E. Ruffnecks Baseball Complex. This design-build compound is a three-field synthetic baseball complex complete with concessions, restrooms, a maintenance garage, parking lot, and additional square footage for future expansion. The complex is equipped to host tournaments for teams throughout New England. RELCO completed the electrical design and self performed the electrical and tel/data installation components. As the project engulfed thirty acres of land, RELCO provided a dedicated rack truck and driver/laborer to assist with material procurement and tool delivery. This increased the field team’s efficiency and productivity by reducing laborer travel time to and from the material staging area.

RELCO aims to set new standards of excellence for the electrical, telecommunication, security and technologies construction industry. Founded in 1993 by Jim Reilly on the principles of integrity, innovation and quality, Reilly Electrical Contractors, Inc. has developed into one of the leading electrical and tel/data contractors in New England. RELCOM Communications Group is the low voltage division of RELCO and has experienced strategic and controlled growth through the past several years. They are constantly improving upon their procedures and performance to continue delivering unsurpassed value and extreme customer satisfaction.

RELCO has successfully completed many of the most complex, multi-faceted projects in New England. Their corporation has four locations strategically located throughout New England: RELCO headquarters in Easton, MA, RELCO Cape Cod in Yarmouth, MA, RELCO North in North Hampton, NH and RELCO Rhode Island in Cranston, RI, all offering the same great service, allowing RELCO customers the benefit of local RELCO teammates, minimal travel, localized expertise, rapid response time and seamless integration of both electrical and low voltage disciplines.

RELCO is proud of their financial strength and fifty million dollar bonding capacity. Their large field workforce of over 200 technicians is one of the largest and most talented in the Northeast.

The Massachusetts Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors is the largest construction trade association in the Commonwealth, representing some 400 local general contractor, subcontractor, and supplier and associate companies.  These companies employ more than 20,000 workers throughout Massachusetts.
