MBREA elects Elliott as vice chair of the Appraisal Foundation's board of trustees on October 29th

According to MBREA, Steven Elliott, MRA was elected vice chair of the Appraisal Foundation's board of trustees. The election took place October 29th and Elliott will assume the office on January 1st, 2012. MBREA is an appraisal organization sponsor of the Appraisal Foundation and appointed Elliott to be its representative on the board of trustees in 2007 and reappointed him in 2010. He has served as chair of the foundation's publications committee and in numerous other roles. Elliott holds the MRA designation from the MBREA and has served as president and trustee of the association. Currently, he is an instructor and member of the MBREA's education and designation committees.
