McEvoy of The Conrad Group, Inc. handles 167,400 s/f lease for Atlantic Bodwell Realty, LLC to Freeman Decorating Services

The Conrad Group, Inc. has recently negotiated the long term lease of 167,400 s/f in the Avon Industrial Park. Freeman Decorating Services will be consolidating its operations from Braintree and Middleborough into 160,000 s/f at 275 Bodwell St. and 7,400 s/f at 27R Doherty Ave. The terms of the deal include a "turn-key" office renovation of 40,000 s/f, the addition of 15 loading dock doors, new warehouse lighting and an ESFR sprinkler system upgrade at 275 Bodwell St., and the construction of a new 7,400 s/f cross dock facility with parking for approximately 90 trailers at 27R Doherty Ave. The lease brings 275 Bodwell St. to full occupancy and comes right on the heels of Exhibitgroup/Giltspur (a division of VIAD Corp.) vacating its premises at the property in November. James McEvoy, senior vice president of The Conrad Group represented the landlord, Atlantic Bodwell Realty, LLC. Freeman was represented by Sean Teague and Jon Vacca of Cassidy Turley FHO and Tom Sutherland of CASE Commercial RE Partners. Freeman has its corporate headquarters in Dallas and is located in 40 cities across North America. The company is privately owned and is a premier provider of integrated services for face-to-face marketing events, including expositions, conventions, corporate events and exhibits of all sizes.
